I am Israa Jayousi, photographer and architect from Palestine. Photography runs in my veins. I have been doing it for 10 years and I extremely love it. I never count the hours I dedicate on developing my experience and growing my visual sense. Once I hold the camera, the shutter won’t stop until I am fully satisfied with the results. My mission is to tell your story in the best way possible and deliver you high quality photos that are full of light and love that you will cherish forever .

My Story
I received my first camera as a gift from my mom for my architectural study in 2008. It was a digital camera with which I used to capture photos of streets, buildings and of course, beautiful moments too!
In 2012, I travelled to Hawaii for some training. During my stay, and in the fascinating island of Oahu, my eyes were drawn by the beauty of the magical beaches, turquoise water, and the green mysterious mountains. I could never allow these memories to fade so I bought my first semi-professional camera there which was the stepping-stone to develop my photography skills as a beginner. By the time I graduated as an architect in 2013, I had developed skills in design, photoshop, photo editing, and a beauty sensitive eye !
In 2016, I had my first full professional camera as a gift from my husband Bahaa, and that was the beginning of my photography career. I did many beautiful photo sessions, portraits of kids, couples, weddings, and families; However, I couldn’t fully dedicate myself to photography since I had to complete my master’s degree in urban planning. I moved to Belgium in 2018 and had my daughter Camellia in 2019. Camellia is a true inspiration to me, she taught me how a mother’s heart can accommodate enormous contradictive feelings of love, fear, and compassion.
Personally, I am a season inspired. Being close to nature inspires me to create dreamy images enthused by the beauty of each passing season, simply like paintings! I never get bored of Spring´s flowers or Fall’s colourful leaves, sunrises and sunsets on a beach. I also love to travel and capture nightscapes of cities and their unique architecture. I always chase the golden and blue light to create that beautiful image in mind. One day, I aspire to become a travel photographer and shoot destination landscapes. My camera is my best friend that I take wherever I go. It never failed me. Through my lens, I express the world how I wish it to be, I seek to spread the beauty everywhere and with each passing day, I am affirmed that photography is the thing for me.

My Photography Style
As a portrait photographer, I describe myself as a minimalist, yet unregretfully a perfectionist. My camera will pause your beautiful moments forever in a portrait that will bring the joy of a memory back to life and my mission is to create it the best way possible. I will not only be your photographer, but your best friend, like we’ve known each other for life. I will help you chose your outfit, and most importantly, will not make you pause for a photo! I´ll let you enjoy the moment as you’re hanging out. I love to capture spontaneous moments that reflect the real you. My photos are full of light, love, earthy tones, golden vibes like fairy tales. I have a very special style of editing that make the photos look authentic , they will simply speak for themselves.
